We're working with Alviv on an AI guest concierge — a system designed to pick up the repetitive, always-on parts of guest messaging so their team can spend their time on the things that actually need a human touch.

How we're building it together

Homestay operations move fast and guests don't wait, so our process with Alviv has leaned heavily on staying close to how their team actually works day to day:

Understanding the guest journey first. Before touching any automation, we walked through what a guest actually experiences from booking to checkout, and where the current setup creates the most friction for Alviv's team.

Ongoing clinic sessions. We don't build in isolation. We run regular working sessions with Alviv to test how the concierge handles real guest scenarios, and refine it based on what their team sees happening with actual guests.

Keeping each other accountable. We commit to timelines and to building something that genuinely reduces the load on their team — not just a demo that looks good once. Alviv commits to giving us real feedback from the ground, including the messy edge cases that only show up once guests start using it.

An AI concierge is only useful if it actually earns the trust of the team running the property day to day. That's why this has been a back-and-forth build rather than a black-box handover — Alviv knows their guests, and we're building around that, not around what we assume a homestay needs.
